About Antelope
Inspired by the resiliency and determination of grassroots organizations, the Antelope Foundation was established for a simple purpose - to support community-driven organizations. The Antelope Foundation knows no geographic or programmatic boundaries. What’s important to us is people, community, problem solving and a willingness to think outside the box and be bold. The common denominator in our work is community-driven. We look for inspirational leaders who are pioneering new approaches in the development arena. We value creativity, determination, compassion and seek to support organizations that are meeting the critical needs of the communities they serve.
The Antelope Foundation is not simply a funding organization. We are collaborators, we engage strategically as well as financially. When we decide to work with an organization, we commit for the long-haul. Areas of expertise include mission/vision development, strategic planning, resource development & program design, operational implementation, logo design & branding, theory of change & logic model creation, leadership training, board development, conflict resolution and mentorship.
All of our work is driven by the needs of partner organizations. We listen first and act second. The Antelope Foundation seeks to help propel organizations to overcome challenges and create transformative change. Grants are either in-kind or financial or both. Antelope also engages in a limited number of consulting assignments.
Team
Full disclosure, Elizabeth and Andy are cousins who grew up in Nebraska and Iowa, respectively. Their collaboration began in 1995 when Elizabeth was working with a group of Russian entrepreneurs to start a western style bakery in in Dubna, Russia. The budget was tight, and Elizabeth needed a logo, so she called her 13-year cousin who was already a graphic design superstar and he whipped up a logo and branding campaign. Elizabeth and Andy have been working together ever since. They are still cousins and get along great!
Elizabeth Bohart
Elizabeth Bohart is a social impact strategist with over 30 years of experience working in the development arena. Elizabeth is an engaged listener and brings a combination of business acumen and cultural sensitivity to her work, helping partners build more impactful organizations by developing effective and efficient strategies to improve programs, systems and external communications. Andy Sherman

Andy has worked with national corporate leaders such as Vail Resorts, EAS Sports Nutrition, Microsoft, and Western Union, as well as focusing on bringing non-profits to life, including Amplify, Nadia’s Initiative, Denver Children’s Hospital, Global Survivors Fund, Kwithu Women’s Group, Green Peace, Free Speech TV, and Colorado Department of Human Services, to name a few.
"Graphic design is a visual extension of an organization. It is imperative to not only express the story and mission of an organization, but to gain insights into the language (both tone and visual) the audience speaks, and apply them across the brand."
